Hood Catches

Introduction

The hood catches suffer from a design flaw that has never been rectified. The mechanical lock has three prongs, two are hooks and one is a guide. The guide is where the problem lies, under certain circumstances the guide will hook behind the plastic lever. When this has occurred, the user/operator will then try and lock the lever and take a big chunk out of the lever.
