Style

There are up to four styles of vehicle licence plate plinths available.

Types

Dependent on age and type these are the following types

  1) Full fibreglass box section with bonded Perspex cover.(Type 1)
  2) Full fibreglass box section with bonded Perspex cover.(Type 2)
  3) Plastic surround with Perspex cover.
  4) Plastic surround without Perspex cover.

Type 1

The box section has a piece of bonded plastic on the internal lower surface, this normally warps due to the excess heat created by the greenhouse effect within the box section. The licence plate is glued to a painted black surface.

Type 2

The box section was reworked to eliminate the additional plastic piece and it became an integral part of the box section. The licence plate is glued to a painted black surface.

Type 3

A black plastic surround with a curved sheet of perspex over the top.

Type 4

A black plastic surround with no cover.
