There have been more than a few stuck thermostats in the last year which have resulted in overheating and [[ECU]] controlled reduction in boost. As well as checking the obvious (coils, plugs, leads etc.) the thermostat should not be forgotten - an [[ElanScan]] run at standstill from cold until the [[fans]] kick in is a good way of confirming. - {Al/Dave, thrown this in based on recent experience but it probably wants to go in faults or similar and link to the thermostat section.
