Not fit for purpose, prone to rusting and expensive (~£150 + VAT) to replace. Gordon Twist has prepared a brilliant [http://homepage.ntlworld.com/gtcmaint/Elan%20M100%20Door%20Glass%20Weatherstrips.pdf write up] on a better, non-rusting replacement at a fraction of the cost. He has even offered to make them up at one third of the cost of the Lotus parts.
